The Jolly Roger Cluster (NGC 1502)

The cluster in the center is the Jolly Roger Cluster, and the name comes from the fact that the red and blue stars stretching from the top right to the center of the photo resemble the jewels looted by the pirate Jolly Roger.

中心にあるClusterがThe Jolly Roger Cluster であるが、右上から中央に連なる赤と青の星たちの並びはKemble's Cascadeと呼ばれていて、海賊のJolly Rogerの戦利品の宝石に例えているようだ。
