The Dusty Hand Galaxy (埃っぽい手銀河) NGC2146

Dusty Hand,,,,,,I don't use this word much in my daily life, unless I'm cleaning a warehouse, but I wanted to see the galaxy that was given this name, so I pointed my telescope at it.
Perhaps due to the influence of nearby NGC2146A, the barred spiral galaxy is completely deformed. This galaxy is also known for being a place where supernovae are often discovered, and just two weeks ago (15th/Nov/2024), a Japanese scientist discovered a supernova here and it was given the catalog number 2024abfl. In 2018, a supernova called SN2018zd appeared in almost the same position as here.
As for the dusty hand, whether it's dusty or not, it's certainly a creepy hand that lies in the center.

埃っぽい手,,,,,通常生活でも倉庫の掃除でもしない限りあまり使わない言葉なのに、そんな名前を付けられてしまった銀河の姿を見たくて望遠鏡を向けて見た。
近くにあるNGC2146Aの影響だろうか、棒状渦巻銀河だが完全に変形している。またこの銀河では超新星がよく発見されることでも知られているそうで、つい２週間前（15th/Nov/2024）に日本の新垣さんがここで超新星を発見して2024abflのカタログ番号が付番されている。ほぼここと同じ位置では2018年にもSN2018zdという超新星が出現している。
さて埃っぽい手の方だが、埃っぽいかどうかは別として確かに気味の悪い手が中心に居座っている。
