My name is Taro Seki, Japanese. Born in Japan 13th/APR/1960.
I have been based in Thailand since 2000, and for the last 10 years living in East Pattaya .
Here it is a tropical area but it is still semi-rural, also the nearby city does not sleep much.
(Borle class is 6).

I like watching the night sky viewing and imaging. But normaly  there are 20  cloudy nights for every clear night.
When it is cloudy, and I cannot use see the sky clearly, I study my telescope, along stars, CCDs, filters etc,,,,, Now having much more  knowledge but still relatively inexperienced.

My Astropical site should show you my DSO and Solar images (Up to sky condition),
along with some knowledge about my equipment and observation technologies.

Astropical.ukへようこそ。
2000年にタイに生活の場を移し、10年前より悪名高き歓楽の大都市Pattayaの東にあるEast　Pattayaという田舎の村に住んでいます。
大変自然の多い場所ですが、4km先のPattayaの灯火は24時間消えることのないBortle　Classが6という光害地帯でもあるのです。
天気は晴れの夜の20倍の曇りの夜という最悪の天体観測エリアといっても問題ないでしょう。

このサイトでは、北回帰線と赤道に挟まれた北緯12.9度という南北の獲物が狙える地の利を利用して、DSOと灼熱の熱帯の太陽のイメージの掲載や、Cloudy Nightsの夜長に調査したり実験した機材や天文のテクノロジーに関して紹介していきます。
