This site is for Astronomy Studies in the Tropics. I'm based in East Pattaya, Thailand, 12.934N, 100.918E, between the sun's northern limit and the Equator. The big advantage of this location is that you can observe both northern and some southern stars at the same time. And it's never cold... lol. The Thousand Rubies Galaxy (千のルビー銀河) Messier 83

I photograph this galaxy every year, and I learned that it has the name ``A Thousand Ruby'', so this time I took a picture of it with that image in mind.
Neither Signal nor Edit specifically boosted Ha, but there are certainly a lot of rubies.

It was a galaxy with a relatively pale blue color.

この銀河は毎年撮影してるが、千のルビーという名を持つことを知り、今回はそのイメージで仕上げて見た。

Signalも編集も特にHaをBoostしたわけではないが、確かに盛りだくさんのルビーがいるな。

比較的青みが薄い銀河だった。
