Astropical

This site is for Astronomy Studies in the Tropics. I'm based in East Pattaya, Thailand, 12.934N, 100.918E, between the sun's northern limit and the Equator. The big advantage of this location is that you can observe both northern and some southern stars at the same time. And it's never cold... lol. I hope to introduce you to the unique celestial opportunities available from this area. Enjoy your observations!! Taro Seki Astropical.uk

RCW 38,39,40 (RCW 38,39,40)Test shot WO Z61 + OAGMany nebulae at this time of year are large, and few can be photographed with a focal length of 2000mm.Yesterday I loaded a Wiiliam Oprics Z61 + QHY294C-Pro onto the observatory's RC10.Since the guide scope ...

The Darth Vader's Starfighter Galaxy (NGC936,NGC941)I thought the bar shape of the bulge was a dumbbell, but when I dug it up with HDR, I found that the circular center was bar-shaped.NGC941 on the left has become a strange spiral galaxy.バルジの棒状が亜 ...

The Fornax A,B Galaxy (NGC1316,1317)Last time, I couldn't get the faint parts out, and the result lacked volume, so this is my revenge. The top Fornax-B has a bright vortex in the center, and it has a cute shape. The bottom Fornax-A allows you to see the de ...
